In business since 2012, Home Partners of America wants to help responsible households on a new path to homeownership by purchasing homes in desirable locations and leasing them to qualified tenants.
Who Qualifies For The Program?
If your household income is at least $50,000, you have stable employment, and you have no history of eviction or pending bankruptcy, you may qualify for this program. Home Partners of America believes that everybody deserves a second chance, so previous credit issues may not prevent you from being approved.
Homes Must Be In An Approved Community
Homes in a high school attendance zone ranked in the top 50% and not adjacent to features that may negatively impair value will be considered. There is a minimum of 2 bedrooms required for approval and the home must be on a lot of three acres or less. Homes must be single family or fee-simple townhomes to qualify.
The Right To Purchase
HPA will provide the tenant with a five-year plan to lease or purchase the property. The tenant can move anytime after fulfilling the one-year minimum lease requirement with no penalty or further obligation.
